Born in 1982, the original Titanos has evolved over 40 years, and in 2024, with the concept of "bringing a new Titanos from Tokyo to the world," "TITANOS TOKYO" was created. The maker of TITANOS TOKYO, Maruman Optical, traces its origins back to the Japanese Gold Metal Industry Co., Ltd., founded in 1950 (now Maruman H&B Co., Ltd.). In 1959, it introduced Japan's first domestic gas lighter, and in 1965, launched the world's first electronic gas lighter. Frames incorporating the design of those vintage gas lighters are delicately engraved by artisans through hand carving, subtly embellishing the side profile with understated elegance. The hexagonal design theme of "TITANOS TOKYO" is reflected in the modern frame holes, hexagonal screws on the hinges, and the brand's symbolic mark engraved on the nose pads. Even in details that are not immediately noticeable, the craftsmanship and artistry of Japanese artisans are apparent. The brand color of TITANOS TOKYO is deep navy blue.
